PLURALS
In unit 2 we have seen the plurals. Why don´t you take this quiz to see how much do you know about them?.
When you finish you can play Reaction You have to write the singular form of the noun. If you get it right, a frog will appear. You have to click the frog as soon as possible.
REMEMBER!
Most of the words in English create the plural by adding -s to the end of the word.
girl - girls
Words ending with - o, x,s, sh and ch create the plural by adding -es to the end of the word
potato - potatoes bus - buses fox - foxes brush - brushes watch- watches
Words ending with consonant + y create the plural by changing y for i and adding ies.
baby - babies
There are other words which have irregular plurals.
man - men woman - women child - children person - people
fish - fish sheep- sheep mouse - mice
foot - feet tooth - teeth
